Added: New video Tone Mapping options replacing the old Dynamic Contrast.Note this patch has some major reworked random generation code play old A13 saved games at your own risk. The fertilizer could even ramain after the first harvest for a smaller chance at another seed/less extra crops the next time before disappearing.Īs it stands right now with the current lack of good food items and more difficult yields from farming, getting fed without a big investment into fortitude and the farming perk I can imagin a lot of people having trouble to keep themselves feed properly. We have a great new patch under the tree. It could either increase the crop yield by one level (from single (2) to double (4), etc.) or it could increase the chance of obtaining a seed (something like +25%) when harvesting. Fertilizer could be obtained from farms/gardens or that tool store that has the gardening section as lootable or breakable bags of fertilizer. It could be optainable through a recipe again and/or be lootable/buyable. This could boost the effective yield by a bunch without a mass harvest being guaranteed.Īnother idea would be to bring fertilizer back. Instead of a 50% chance to get one additional crop we could have a +25% chance to gain a seed for a total of 75%. One idea is to change the 2nd level of the perk which needs a total of 4 points to be reached. I do enjoy the semi random crop yield but due to food items or seeds not being easier to find we would need other measures to help. Even with 2/3 points in the perk there is a 50% chance to not get a seed and another 50/50 chance to either end up with as many crops as the seed took to craft or less than that. It is now harder to get a good amount of crops without a heavier perk investment. So in general I am a fan of the changes made to farming in the Alpha 20 but I do think that it needs to be tweaked.

Routers broadcast wireless signal through the air over a given frequency using antennae. This is why wifi seems to be so much stronger or faster in some parts of your home or office versus others. Different wifi routers have different signal strengths, but all of them reach their limits and cannot overcome physical obstacles without dramatically strengthened signals. Wireless routers take the signal from a cable/modem and convert it to a wireless protocol, then receive connection attempts back from wifi-enabled devices, thus completing the two-way connection in the same way that a desktop computer plugged directly into the wall acts–only without all the wires.Īs is true with radio waves, wifi signal diminishes over a given distance, which is further impacted by things like walls, building materials, and competing wifi networks. What’s relevant is that wifi takes the connection to the internet from the cable that runs into the wall and converts it into a wireless data communication protocol that allows wifi-enabled devices to connect to the internet without plugging them directly into an ethernet cable. The way we connect to the internet has changed since then, but that’s a different conversation. It was called “dial up” because it literally dialed into a landline network. In the old days, connecting to the internet involved something akin to a phone call, complete with those crazy ringing and chiming noises. Maybe you’ve never heard of wireless extenders and just want to know how you can get the same strong signal on one side of the house that you get in the other.Įither way, here’s how your home wifi works and how you can extend its reach with a wifi booster or signal repeater. Maybe you’ve heard of wifi extenders and are worried that they slow things down or cause another type of signal issue. Wifi extenders are simple devices, and if your requirements align with their capabilities, you can have a solution within minutes of plugging one in. The good news is that there are a number of simple devices which can dramatically extend your wireless network without incurring a large expense or requiring advanced tech skills to setup. Those international Skype conference calls get patchy when you walk around the house, and you nervously pace back towards the office to hear while your toast burns in the kitchen. Everyone has been there – the lightning-fast Wifi in your home office becomes laggy in your bedroom, or maybe it works great streaming Netflix in the living room but won’t stream a step-by-step cooking show in the kitchen. In this paper, we present several methods, including ethnography and methods from user-centered design, for using context to inform implementation efforts.ĭespite pervasive findings pointing to its inextricable role in intervention implementation, context-a setting’s technical, physical, social, and organizational environment, and the characteristics and tasks of the users functioning in it -remains poorly understood in implementation science. To do this, the field of implementation science is in need of methods for assessing context and using that information to improve implementation. Understanding these factors upfront can allow us to adapt interventions to better suit context (e.g., tailoring intervention content to patients’ needs), change context to make it more ready for implementation (e.g., changing provider workflow to accommodate an intervention), and anticipate strategies that may be needed to implement an intervention (e.g., delivering training on the intervention to providers). For example, implementation may be influenced by contextual factors such as patient/provider beliefs about an intervention, budget constraints, leadership buy-in, an organization’s readiness to change, and many others. To accomplish this integration, it is important to understand the contexts into which interventions are being implemented. The field of implementation science studies how to better integrate research evidence into practice. Embedding ethnographic methods within a user-centered design approach can help us to tailor interventions and implementation strategies to their contexts of use to promote implementation. Other methods from user-centered design (i.e., translation tables and a design team prototyping workshop) allowed us to translate that information into specifications for NA-SB delivery and a plan for implementation. Our ethnographic contextual inquiry yielded a rich understanding of local implementation context and contextual variation across potential scale-up contexts. In this paper, we describe the user-centered design process that we used to anticipate context modifications needed to deliver NA-SB and implementation strategies needed to facilitate its implementation. We developed a patient-reported outcome measure-based clinical intervention to assess and address the pervasive unmet needs of young adults with cancer: the Needs Assessment & Service Bridge (NA-SB). In the case example presented in this paper, we embedded an ethnographic assessment of context within a user-centered design approach to describe implementation context and apply that information to promote implementation. To be useful for improving implementation, though, methods are needed to apply contextual information during implementation. Moreover, many studies assess context without subsequently using contextual information to enhance implementation. Thus, in-depth and multilevel approaches are needed to meaningfully describe the contexts into which interventions will be implemented. Existing approaches for describing context (e.g., surveys, interviews) may be narrow in scope or superficial in their elicitation of contextual data. ahead-of-print.Despite pervasive findings pointing to its inextricable role in intervention implementation, context remains poorly understood in implementation science. While compiling the Preloader, the CONFIG_SPL_BUILD variable is automatically defined, both in the make environment and in the C compilation flags. U-Boot supports a lot of drivers mainly because it leverages the existing Linux kernel drivers. This allows the Preloader access to the extensive set of available U-Boot drivers. The Preloader and U-Boot share most of the source code. The U-Boot source code generated by SoC EDS tools is provided for reference only, but it can be useful in understanding the interactions between Preloader and U-Boot, especially when tweaking parameters like clocking.įor the remainder of this document we will use the U-Boot source code created by the Preloader Generator. U-Boot is also included with the Yocto Source Package. Note that the main repository for the U-Boot source code is the git tree at. But for applications where U-Boot is needed too, the command make uboot can be used to also compile the U-Boot image. Note that the make command above first extracts the full U-Boot source code, then it copies the generated Preloader configuration files to the U-Boot source code, and finally compiles the Preloader.įor applications where only the Preloader is needed, the above is sufficient. See Generating and Compiling the Preloader for detailed steps on how to generate and compile the Preloader. There are also plenty of bars available on these ships. That means Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Starry, Mug Root Beer, and Mountain Dew, although the selection can vary by ship. Both ships serve the Pepsi family of products. In terms of drinks and cocktails, you have a variety of choices. It has 17% more dining options than the Dream.īoth ships have a similar number of paid versus included dining options. If you like having a variety of places to eat, the Breeze might be a better choice. 14 of these restaurants are complementary and the other 7 have an additional fee. Some of its popular venues are Seafood Shack, Mongolian Wok, and Cucina Del Capitano. The other 5 options have an additional fee. Of those options, 13 are complementary, or included with your cruise fare. The Dream has 18 different dining options like Bonsai Sushi, Seafood Shack, and Mongolian Wok. When you look at the "Space Ratio," or tons of ship compared to number of passengers, the Dream has the same amount of space per person as the Breeze.įood is a big part of any cruise, and the ship you choose can make a huge difference in your food experience. Number of PassengersĬarnival Dream holds about the same number of passengers as the Breeze based on double occupancy (two people per room). For the most part, they're similar in terms of size and layout although they may have different features and attractions on board. The Dream and the Breeze are in the same class, which means they're sister ships. Coming in at 1,004 feet long and 122 feet wide, it's roughly the length of 2.8 football fields, as wide as 2.3 tractor-trailers and the same height as a 14-story building. The Dream is considered a medium size ship. It's 3 years older than the Breeze, which was built in 2012. One of these had our life jackets, and there was spare bedding (presumably for the pullout sofa). The Carnival Dream was built in 2009. Storage was adequate for two, most of which was in three full-length closets, each 20 inches wide. The only place to sit other than the couch was a back-less chair at the small desk. There was a six-foot couch, which could be opened as a bed for a third guest. Lamps were on either side of the bed and, though not bright, the light décor allowed the illumination to shine through. The duvet was plumped with hypoallergenic down. So although Breeze looked much like her siblings outside, once inside we discovered a whole new guise for Carnival.įortunately, our mattress-two twins that could be combined into a king-found the happy medium between firm and soft, and proved quite comfortable, inducing us to slumber easily. For years, Carnival has been known for its garish décor-though, in truth, the playful glitz and whimsy still has its fans. Breeze would be the first ship to get the full cosmetic overhaul. Just eight months before inaugural cruise for Carnival Breeze, the Fun Ship 2.0 program was announced. The decision to launch a fleet-wide revitalization program actually happened late in the construction process for Breeze. More than 20 cruise ships are larger for comparison, Celebrity’s Solstice Class is slightly smaller than Breeze, Royal Caribbean’s Voyager Class is slightly larger. About Our CruiseĬoming in at 130,000 tons, Breeze has the largest capacity of any ship in the Carnival fleet. What’s the “new” Carnival all about? Offering Caribbean voyages out of Miami year-round, we set sail on Breeze to find out. In addition to new dining and drinking concepts, Breeze was the first Carnival ship to abandon the Joe Farcus-conceived interior designs-brash décor that could make a whole vessel look like a garish casino, circa 1970 (a style dubbed by some as Farchitecture). He directed summer stock for the Barter Theatre in Abingdon, Virginia (1940), and was assistant stage manager for the New York production of Sons and Soldiers (1943). He served as drama critic for the Chicago Journal of Commerce from 1934 to 1937 and as drama editor for the Manhattan Magazine in 1939. In spite of the show's mild success on broadway, it suffered a loss of 50,000 dollars. In 1929, he co-produced the road production of Bambina. For fifteen years thereafter the collection continued to grow, but its organization deteriorated.īlum's activities as a producer and critic-columnist occupied the years from 1929 to 1940, while he was building his collection. By 1951, his staff could no longer both maintain Blum's collection and help him compile his increasingly popular books on the theater. By 1940, his private collection had become so widely known that he was plagued with requests for information and its size required a full-time staff to maintain it. In 1929 he left his father's firm to pursue a career relating to the theater, becoming a mildly successful producer and columnist but his main interest remained the theater collection he was amassing. At the age of ten, after attending an evening performance of Judy Forgot, with Marie Cahill, he began to keep scrapbooks and collect photographs and clippings. Rather than continuing the business career his father had intended for him, however, he turned to the theater as his field of interest, for it had been the theater which had most fascinated him from childhood.Īs a child, Blum had been taken frequently to the Chicago theaters by his parents. Returning to Chicago he went to work for his father's firm. He attended Shakespeare Grammar School in Chicago, Howe Prep School in Howe, Indiana, and the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. Daniel Blum was born in 1900 in Chicago, Illinois, where his father was president of Federated Metals.
